Ideally suited to individuals where part of their job role includes leading audits within a range of industries, this course provides an overview of core fundamental topics including initiating, participating, leading and reporting on quality audits.
The BSBSS00128 - Lead Auditor Skill Set course comprises of core units of competency covering disciplines including:
- Preparation for and participation in quality audits as a member of a quality audit team.
- Initiation and leading quality audits
- Reporting on the outcomes of quality audits and
- Undertaking appropriate follow up actions surrounding the outcomes of quality audits
Individuals may wish to undertake Mentor Education's nationally recognised BSB50920 - Diploma of Quality Auditing course, which provides a full formal auditing related diploma qualification.
This course can also be completed in conjunction with the BSBSS00122 - Compliance Skill Set as part of the Auditing and Compliance Short course.

Course Outcomes
